Why is it taking so long to get the Scott numbers for the 1776-2026 us flag issues? There are numbers for the American Icon stamps that were issued on the same date, 2 months ago.
I’m not Scott Stamp LLC nor do I speak for it, but Scott has always had a rule that it won’t list an issue until it actually has a physical copy of the stamp in hand and can examine it. There are so many varieties (of any flag issue) that even without that rule, I think it would take time to figure out the numbering.
