The Stamp Collecting Report, I'm Lloyd de Vries.

It’s only been a short while since World Stamp Show-New York 2016 ended, and already
there are plans for the next international stamp collecting show in the U-S. It’s
going to be in Boston.

“It’s going to be a fabulous gathering in Beantown.” RUNS :03

Nancy Clark heads the group of volunteers that has actually been working on the 20-26
show for several years.

She says one thing that makes these once-a-decade shows special are the very rare
stamps on display.

“There are always invited, special rarities that are superb and that you don’t see any
other time.” RUNS :07

It’s not just exhibits of rare stamps.

“You’re going to have post offices from around the world, you’re going to have dealers
from around the world.” RUNS :05

And there’s more.

“Above all, as my daughter likes to say, ‘You’re going to a reunion!’ There’s so many
friends from all over the world, and that’s just fabulous.” RUNS :05

Because collectors come to these Internationals from all over the world.

“You see people you haven’t seen in ten years.” RUNS :02

But Nancy Clark promises — even casual collectors will find something at Boston 20-26.

“There will be meat-and-potatoes philately going on.” RUNS :02

The show will be held at the downtown Convention Center in late May, and there’s already
