The Stamp Collecting Report, I'm Lloyd de Vries.

The U-S Postal Service recently dropped a bombshell: It will produce another Circus
Posters issue, and most of us won’t be able to afford it.

It will be what’s called a souvenir sheet, with a face value of one dollar.

But the only way to get it will be to buy the 2014 Stamp Yearbook at the end of the
year. Those annual publications now cost 65 dollars and up.

Chad Snee, editor of the Scott stamp catalogues that most U-S collectors use, says it
probably won’t be given a listing number.

“Because of the way it’s being distributed in a rather limited fashion through a
somewhat expensive product that many collectors are going to forego.” RUNS :09

Snee says it just isn’t fair.

“We are concerned when the Postal Service produces something that just isn’t readily
available to most if not all collectors.” RUNS :08

By not listing it as a stamp, collectors won’t feel obligated to obtain the sheet to
complete their collections.
