VSC member Bonnie Fuson used the World War II Memorial stamp to remember her late husband, who is shown while serving in the Army during the War. Note the Burbank, Calif., first day cancel.

Another first day cover for the World War II Memorial stamp by Fuson features a Donald Duck insignia from World War II, with the Burbank pictorial on the first day.
The Burbank post office was renamed in Bob Hope's memory on May 29th, the first day of issue for the World War II Memorial stamp, which was released nationwide. This cover is by Via.
Apparently not fearing that copyright holder MGM will put Inspector Clouseau on its tail, cachetmaker BGC featured Peter Sellers and the Pink Panther on two of its cachets for the Henry Mancini stamp.
The 4 BGC covers feature all 11 first day cities for the Lewis & Clark stamps on cachets
that represent a map of their expedition's travels.
Our mystery friend from Bretton Woods, N.H., has been ranging far afield from New England, servicing these covers from Ecuador....
...and from Canada.
