\n\"s_apples\"On August 12, 2016, in Kansas City, MO, the U.S. Postal Service\u00ae will issue a 1-cent Apples mail-use stamp in one design, in a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) coil of 3,000 (782300) and also a PSA coil of 10,000 (780000).<\/p>\n

The stamp will go on sale nationwide August 12, 2016.<\/p>\n

In 2016, the Postal Service\u2122 issues Apples, a new 1-cent definitive stamp. The stamp art features two apples on a branch surrounded by leaves. The illustration was created with pen and ink and watercolor. Art director Derry Noyes designed this stamp with an existing illustration by John Burgoyne.<\/p>\n

Stamp Fulfillment Services will not make an automatic push distribution to Post Offices of either version.<\/p>\n

How to Order the First-Day-of-Issue Postmark:<\/span><\/strong>
\nCustomers have 60 days to obtain the first-day-of-issue postmark by mail. Each cover must have sufficient postage to meet First-Class Mail\u00ae requirements. They may purchase new stamps at their local Post Office, at The Postal Store\u00ae website at http:\u2044\u2044www.usps.com\u2044shop, or by calling 800-782-6724. They should affix the stamps to envelopes of their choice, address the envelopes (to themselves or others), and place them in a larger envelope addressed to:<\/p>\n

\"s_apples\"After applying the first-day-of-issue postmark, the Postal Service will return the envelopes through the mail. There is no charge for the postmark up to a quantity of 50. There is a 5-cent charge for each additional postmark over 50. All orders must be postmarked by October 12, 2016<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There are no philatelic products<\/span><\/strong> for the coil of 3,000.
\nThere is one philatelic product for the coil of 10,000: 780016 First-Day Cover, $0.92.<\/p>\n
