OUT: "...can I help you?

[" attempt to help people who walk on the floor of a
stamp show for the first time and are absolutely dumbfounded
as to where I go next or what do I do or why am I here?"

LdeV: "Do most shows have floor mentors?"

"I'm the only one in existence at the present time!"

"You look at 'em as they come through the door, and, I mean,
their chin drops and....'What do I do now? Where do I go
and how do I begin?'"

LdeV: "What would you think are the qualifications for a
floor mentor?"

"An 'A' personality. (laughter)

"Somebody who's not afraid to go out and meet the public,
who can walk up to a stranger and say, 'Can I help you?'"]
