One of a kind.

The Stamp Collecting Report, I'm Lloyd de Vries.

It happens every time the Postal Service issues a sheet of stamps with different
subjects: Some customers only want ONE of the designs, not all of them.

Such is the case with this summer's Early Television Memories stamps, which feature 20
different shows and their stars, from Milton Berle to Perry Mason.

In a recent column, Mekeel's and Stamps Magazine editor John Leszak tells of stamp
dealers getting calls from people who want to buy sheets of 20 stamps, all of the same
show....all "Lone Ranger" or all "Twilight Zone."

One dealer at first turned down these requests...but then had second thoughts. So he
bought 20 sheets of the stamps, removed all the stamps except Twilight Zone from one
of the sheets, and added 19 more.

Voila! He'd constructed a single sheet of 20 Twilight Zone stamps....and sold it for
TWICE face value....88 cents a stamp. Now he's trying to find that Lone Ranger fan.
