The Philatelic Club of Will County normally meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. We meet at Messiah Lutheran Church, corner of Jefferson St and Houbolt Road, next to the airport, in Joliet, IL. Programs begin at 7:00, but members begin to gather as early as 6:30 for a time of visiting, trading and digging through mixtures and other informal activities. The club maintains variety in its schedule. There are usually three or four auctions a year. Other club programs include presentations by collectors, contests and games, and programs from the APS and the National Postal Museum. Average attendance at a club meeting is about 15, and visitors are always welcome.

The annual stamp and postcard show, WILLCOPEX 2009, will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Messiah Lutheran Church, Joliet, from 10-4. The show will feature competitive exhibits, an 18 dealer bourse, 5 cent mixtures, a club table, a show cancellation, and the availability of food service.
